Aligudarz Chinese
Aligudarz Chinese Stone is one of the Iranian crystalline stones that is extracted from the mines of Aligudarz in Lorestan Province and is known in the global market as Marble White, which has a white and transparent background with an exceptional reciprocal light reflection.
This type of stone has at least 3 different sorts in terms of veining, which are:
- Low-Vein Sort of Aligudarz Stone: Due to its great resemblance to Italian Bianco marble, it is called Bianco Aligudarz Chinese Stone or Persian Bianco Chinese Stone and is also known as Aligudarz Crystal.
- High-Vein Sort of Aligudarz Stone: Due to its great resemblance to Spanish Arabescato marble, it is known in the market as Persian Arabescato.
- Dark Sort of Aligudarz Stone: Aligudarz Chinese Stone with a dark grey background and irregular veins.
Other characteristics of Aligudarz Chinese Stone include:
- High density and strength for use in high-traffic environments
- Resistance to light and color fading
- Polished and glossy surface
- Ability to create unique Mach for Mach/Book Match frames
Using Aligudarz Chinese Stone on building facades makes it vulnerable; therefore, it is recommended not to use it for exterior facades. Also, it should be noted that due to its very low porosity and smooth back surface, when using Aligudarz Chinese Stone on building facades, back-anchoring clips (scop) must be used. It is suitable for all architectural styles.
Aligudarz Chinese Stone is suitable for use on floors and walls of residential and non-residential projects, restrooms, kitchens and countertops, parking floors and walls, elevator and fireplace frames, stair treads, stairwells, decorative walls, and TV walls.
