Joshaghan Marble, due to its nearly 68-year history, high quality, and high strength, is one of the most widely used stones in mass construction projects. It has two main sorts (types):
a: Light background with fossils and peach-colored veins in a heart-like stripe pattern, which is called Navari (Wavy/Striped) Joshaghan Marble.
b: White background with yellow spots, which is called Kalbasi (Salami-colored) Joshaghan Marble.
Other characteristics of Joshaghan Marble include:
Joshaghan Marble is suitable for use in interior building facades, wall stone, flooring and stair treads/risers, elevator frames, flooring for commercial and office halls and residential buildings, wall skirtings, and stone frames.
Using Joshaghan Marble alongside darker stones as a complement creates a very beautiful and eye-catching combination that adds a special grandeur and elegance to the space and building.
It is worth noting that because this marble has natural water absorption, it cannot be used in places that are in contact with water. Furthermore, we recommend against using this stone in areas exposed to cold, rainfall, and heavy weight due to the potential for damage and cracking of its limestone layers. However, it is interesting to note that despite the general characteristics of marbles that make them unsuitable for exterior facades, Joshaghan Marble is an exception, as it was used in the construction of the Azadi Tower.
Joshaghan Marble is suitable for various architectural styles, including luxury, modern, classic, Roman, eclectic, and more.
