Horan Sang Joshaghan Mining Company (Josheghan Qali, Kashan)
Joshaghan Marble is considered one of the oldest and most renowned types of marble in Iran. Its mines were established in 1954 by Master Ghanbar Rahimi, known as Arbab Ghanbar. The sorts of this stone include:
- Shahidi Joshaghan Marble
- Kalbasi Joshaghan Marble
- Daneh Siah (Black Grain) Joshaghan Marble
- and others.
The type of stone in this mine is marble, available in cream with heart-shaped veins, grey, kalbasi (a light brownish-red), and light cream with peach-colored veins.
This type of stone can be used for the following:
- Interior building facades
- Wall stone
- Elevator surrounds
- Stairwell walls
- Stair treads and flooring for commercial and office halls
- Parking stone
Joshaghan Marble is very popular due to its features such as reasonable price, high quality, extensive use in mass construction projects, polished and glossy surface, and light reflection.
It is important to note that this stone is only processed in a non-wavy (straight cut) form.
